Introduction to Cobalt Hydroxide and related products
Cobalt Hydroxide , formula Co(OH)2,with CAS No.:21041-93-0.
It is a kind of light pink powder, specific gravity 3.597, soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, insoluble in water and alkali. It reacts with organic acids to form cobalt soap. Because of its comparative lighter density , it will be packed 500kgs for one pallet , and 10mts in one 20ft FCL .
Cobalt Hydroxide its raw material are cobalt chloride and sodium hydroxide ,for applications in chemical production, it is used to produce cobalt salt, cobalt-containing catalyst and electrolysis method to produce hydrogen peroxide decomposer. Used in paint industry as paint drier. Glass lining industry is used as a colorant, etc. Used to make cobalt salt, cobalt catalyst, battery electrode soaking solution and paint desiccant; used for glass and enamel coloring, making cobalt compound, and desiccant for paint and varnish .
The main application is used in paint drier , we have large amount of clients in Pakistan ,Iran ,Southeast countries .Usually with the Zirconium Carbonate and 2-Ethylhexanoic acid,which are our strong products in this application .
Zirconium Carbonate ,formula Zr(OH)2CO3.ZrO2,with CAS No.:57219-64-4.Basic zirconium carbonate is a white solid powder, soluble in organic acids and inorganic salts, soluble in ammonium carbonate; insoluble in water and organic solvents, and can be converted into zirconium oxide at high temperatures.
Packed in net 25kgs bag ,do not store with acids and liquid ammonia together.
2-Ethylhexanoic acid formula C8H16O2,with CAS No.:149-57-5 is a colorless, slightly odorous liquid. It is flammable, slightly soluble in cold water, soluble in hot water and ether, and slightly soluble in ethanol. It can be used as an intermediate for paint and coating driers.
